What Assistant can do

A practical action reference, including where to check the result.

“Add a note: review the onboarding copy.”
Scratchpad

Review the onboarding copy.

Control map Assistant → Oneslice tools. Illustrations explain the controls; your saved values may differ.
01

Create reminders and timers

Say ‘Remind me to review the proposal at 4 PM’ or ‘Set a timer for ten minutes.’ Then open Reminders or Timer to verify the item. Specify an unambiguous time or duration. Editing, removing, pausing, and resetting use the tool page's controls; voice creation does not imply voice control of every later operation.

02

Start a stopwatch

Say ‘Start a stopwatch’ and open Stopwatch to see elapsed time. Pause, resume, and reset with the buttons on that page. Starting it by voice does not mean laps or every stopwatch operation is supported by voice.

03

Save notes and vocabulary

Say ‘Add a Scratchpad note: Review the onboarding copy’ to save note content. Ask to add a name or terminology to the dictionary, giving the intended spelling or definition when useful. Open Scratchpad or Dictionary to inspect what was saved. Clearing pages, deleting entries, or arbitrary editing is done manually.

04

Write into the current field

An explicit typing request can enter suitable generated text into your focused field. Select the destination before asking and review the result. Writing a draft does not send the email, submit a form, or click a button in the destination app.

05

Combine supported work with Enhanced

Enhanced can combine supported actions or an answer and an action when the request is clear and the account is eligible. For example, ask for a short explanation and a note containing it. Confirm each result. This is not a general desktop agent: do not expect arbitrary app launching, web research, inbox access, or external calendar management.
